Dear PTA members,

Please be advised that the 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the La Salle College Parent Teacher Association (LSCPTA) will be held on 17 September 2021 (Friday) at 7pm.  Attached please find the agenda for your reference.  In the AGM, the Financial Report and Annual Report of the Year 2020-2021 will be presented.  For details of LSCPTA and her constitution, please visit http://www.lscpta.org/web/index.php.

Interested parents who would like to join the Standing Committee Election please refer to the procedures and deadlines as follows:

·        Deadline of application:  12noon, 7 September 2021 (Tuesday)

·        Returning Officer: Mr. LEUNG Ho Yin, Steve (Vice Principal)

Methods of submission:

(1)   Via Reply slip of this eNotice;

(2)   Via emails, with the necessary information, to Mr. Alfred LAM, Home-School Coordinator, at lam.cha@lasalle.edu.hk; or

(3)   Hardcopy to the School Office.

·         Election notes:

(1)   Candidates should provide a written self-introduction (within 150 words in English or 300 words in Chinese).

(2)   Candidates can send us a short video clip of 2-minute self-introduction (in MP4 format), either in English or Chinese, if they prefer.  The video will be posted up on the LSCPTA website.  

(3)   The Election will be conducted on one-parent/guardian-one-vote basis.

(4)   Any enquiries, complaints or appeals related to the Election will be handled by the College.  The College retains the rights in the interpretation of election documents and procedures, and in making the final decision.

Our Home-School Coordinator, Mr Alfred LAM, will contact the candidates on 8 September 2021 (Wednesday) for confirmation.  If candidates have not been contacted by that time, they are to approach Mr. Alfred LAM at +852 9879 9145 or lam.cha@lasalle.edu.hk on 9 September 2021 (Thursday).  Candidates’ written self-introductions will be posted up on the LSCPTA website on 11 September 2021 (Saturday) for voters’ reference.

Besides, in response to the structural change in the School Management of La Salle College, the LSCPTA has carried out a constitutional review.  The proposed changes will be presented to LSCPTA members in the AGM for endorsement.  You can find the proposed changes in the attachment.

All PTA members are invited to attend the 28th Annual General Meeting & Standing Committee 2021-2022 Election on 17 September 2021 (Friday) to show support for the PTA.

各位家長教師會會員：

喇沙書院家長教師會第二十八屆週年大會將於二零二一年九月十七日（星期五）晚上七時舉行，議程詳見另頁；現誠邀各家長及老師撥冗出席，以支持本會的工作。在週年大會中，執行委員會主席將就二零二零至二零二一年度的財政及活動作出報告。有關家長教師會活動詳情及其憲章，請瀏覽: http://www.lscpta.org/web/index.php。

此外，家長教師會誠邀各位家長參選擔任家長教師會執行委員，為本會出一分力，共襄會務。有意參選者，務請依以下程序和日期提交所需資料：

·         參選截止報名日期及時間：二零二一年九月七日（星期二）中午十二時

·         選舉主任：梁浩然副校長

·         參選報名方法：

1)      填妥本電子通告的相關回條；

2)      透過電郵遞交給本校家校合作主任林仲豪老師（電郵地址: lam.cha@lasalle.edu.hk）；或

3)      將參選申請表親身遞交至本校校務處。

·         參選須知：

1)      參選者須提交一份自我介紹（英文150字之內或中文300字之內）。

2)      參選者可選擇提交一段不超過兩分鐘的自我介紹短片（中文或英語，MP4 格式）。此短片將會上載於家教會網頁。

3)      每位已在學校註冊的家長會員和老師會員都擁有一票投票權。

4)      有關選舉條文的闡釋，選舉投訴或上訴等事務，將由喇沙書院校方秉公處理，並作最終的解釋及決定。

林仲豪老師將於二零二一年九月八日（星期三）聯絡報名參選的家長，以作確認；若參選者於當日仍未收到通知，請於二零二一年九月九日（星期四）致電 +852 9879 9145 或發電郵至lam.cha@lasalle.edu.hk 與林仲豪老師聯絡。參選者的自我介紹及影片，將於二零二一年九月十一日（星期六），上載於喇沙書院家長教師會網頁，以供家長參考。

另外，有鑑於喇沙書院增設第三位副校長，本會計畫在會章作出相應的修改，並於會員大會上向會員講解並進行表決，詳情請參閱附件。

懇請各會員於當晚盡量撥冗出席，以示對本會的支持，多謝各位。
