Brother Steve - New Appointment

Below for your information:

 

Brother David Hawke, Provincial of Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Papua New Guinea (ANZPPNG) announced to the District of ANZPPNG that he had appointed Brother Steve Hogan to Principal of Oakhill College Sydney, Australia.

Oakhill College is a Catholic, co-educational, secondary, day school, located in Castle Hill, a suburb in the Hills District of the Greater region of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, and is a member of the Independent Schools Association (ISA). Founded in 1936, the College is run by the De La Salle Brothers in the tradition of St. Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, and currently caters for approximately 1,700 students from Years 7 to 12. Oakhill College grew alongside and now includes what once was the novitiate and Teachers Training College of the Brothers (later the Castle Hill campus of the Australian Catholic University) and has some of the most advanced secondary school facilities in Sydney. Over its short 80-year history Oakhill College has produced many achievers more recently including world renown Olympians, dramatists, play writers, academics (Chair of the Medical School, Sydney University), clerics (Auxiliary Bishop of Sydney), UN Counsellors, politicians, and Australian military officers.
